I am Angel O. Rivera, Co-Owner & President of Hartwell Transport and PalleTex Warehousing, bringing more than a decade of leadership experience in transportation, logistics, warehousing, and intermodal operations throughout the Houston market.
My professional journey began with the Houston Police Department, where I served as a Senior Police Telecommunicator. Working in emergency communications taught me how to remain calm under pressure, make critical decisions in real time, and manage high-stress situations. These skills became valuable throughout my career in the fast-paced transportation and logistics industry.
In 2014, I entered the logistics industry with Genesis Intermodal, where I quickly advanced into management roles and helped launch Nordic Logistics. I later joined W.W. Rowland Trucking, where I helped establish the company’s first 53’ domestic intermodal division. I also played a key role in launching XLR8 Truck Lines from the ground up and continued developing my leadership experience with C&K Trucking (now Medlog), helping build operations, expand intermodal divisions, and oversee large-scale transportation and fleet operations.
After years of helping build successful transportation companies for others, I partnered with Alejandro to launch Hartwell Transport in 2024 and later co-founded PalleTex Warehousing. Today, I lead both organizations with a focus on providing integrated drayage, warehousing, transloading, and logistics solutions while staying committed to the core values that have guided my career: hard work, accountability, reliability, and exceptional customer service.
My journey from emergency communications to transportation executive and entrepreneur reflects my belief that success is earned through dedication, continuous growth, and a commitment to serving customers at the highest level.
